- 3rd -- Flag Town 5K Run and Walk, Mooresville. To register, go to www.getmeregistered.com
- 9th -- Images of Morgan County Art Show, Art Sanctuary, Martinsville. Show runs through Sept. 23.
- 23rd -- Statewide Torch Relay comes through Morgan County.
- 24th -- Public dedication of Old Town Waverly Park, Waverly.
